Day 33

Pink Ribbon
So I spent the morning with my mom getting her Chemo treatment. Her old Dr. is out on medical leave so we had to meet with a new Dr. and he decided to change her treatment course a little bit. Nothing radical but I think it is for the best. The good news is that neither the old medicine nor the new medicine will make her loose her hair. And he is letting her stay on the Steroids every treatment… she likes how she feels after getting an IV of those every week  ;)

So all is good on that front.

Now for my evening I have a meeting but I think I might stop at Cold Stone Creamery and get me the new PB&C shake…
yummmy!

Why is that newsworthy? Here is an excerpt from men’s health:

Cold Stone PB&C (Gotta Have It size, 24 fl oz)

2,010 calories
131 g fat (68 g saturated)
153 g sugars

In terms of saturated fat, drinking this Cold Stone catastrophe is like slurping up 68 strips of bacon. Health experts recommend capping your saturated fat intake at about 20 grams per day, yet this beverage packs more than three times that into a cup the size of a Chipotle burrito.

- Lets just say that you should never admit to your Doctor that you have consumed one of these, it might risk your status as insurable  ;)

Ya, that’s a little bit of food porn for you... here is some more!

Ill have what she is having.
