The little things are starting to change...
I haven't tapped my pocket and looked around me desk for my smokes today!
I ate lunch and drove back to work with out even thinking about a smoke!
WIN! |
But sadly this all comes at a cost… before bed last night I pulled one from my safety net… it is funny how guilty it made me feel after words…
Lose |
But today is a new day! It was just 1 little trip up, wont happen again!
Lets talk about happier things, like:
Today I got to work kind of early and my boss was not here yet, so I went in his office and moved his desk about 1 inch towards his chair. I don’t know if you have ever sat at a desk for a long time but a little change like that will throw you off for days. If he notices it he will just assume the cleaning crew did it ;)
Suggestions for tomorrow?
Oh well, shit happens! Atleast you are smoking way less than before! I am sure you will find the motivation not to get another from your pack!
ReplyDeleteA suggestion for tomorrow could be you write another story about people you know that stopped smoking!
you should of moved his desk out the window
ReplyDeletelots and lots of nicotine gum! :)
ReplyDeleteyou should just keep moving it a little bit each day in the same direction.
ReplyDeleteMind games and some psy-ops will fuck his shit up.
ReplyDeletetomorrow is another day!
ReplyDeletehahaha super funny. I never taught on moving my boss´ desk.
ReplyDeleteA blog on quitting smoking? I need this. Good luck, man.
ReplyDeleteaw man, at least it was only one
ReplyDeleteMan I need to quit so badly. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteit's always only one, tried to quit it a few times, the day will come ;)
ReplyDeletedon't worry about one, it would be unreasonable to expect perfection
ReplyDeletenow that u dont smoke u can come up with a wide variety of pranks. and with the money u save get a camera and try to catch em
ReplyDeleteWow, that sort of stuff is devious and does throw people off. Good idea. Also good that you cut the cravings down. One ain't to bad.
ReplyDeletenot smoking is always good
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about using the safety net, that's why it's there. Micro-bandalism, that's a great way to mess with your boss hehe. Keep it up! (both quitting and bandalism)
ReplyDeleteAnother good game to play is replace the pen´s ink cartridge with an empty one at every opportunity...he gets a different looking pen...who cares, just change the cartride in that as well. :-D
ReplyDeleteCheers
paul
thanks for the pic at least.
ReplyDeletecongratulations and good luck :) my girlfriend is trying to smoke for few months now xD
ReplyDeleteit happens....it was just 1...that just 17 seconds of your life gone ....lol
ReplyDeletetry reading 'Alan carrs easy way to quit smoking' thats the book that helped me...seriously.
ReplyDeletesuggestion: move his desk another inch tomorow.
ReplyDeleteOne cigarette won't diminish your efforts...
ReplyDeleteYou feel better when you don't smoke. Sometimes, though, you just want to.
ReplyDeleteahahah cool man Mind fuck him
ReplyDeleteInteresting :)
ReplyDeleteDamn she's soooo fine ;D
ReplyDeleteMy dad is 48 years old and been smoking since 15. He had a heart attack a month ago and found out it has a lot to do with him smoking. He had to have surgery and they said if he went back to smoking... he'd have about 2-3 years but he'd live a full life if he stopped. He completely stopped cold turkey that day and over a month later hasn't even been tempted. Thought I'd share.
ReplyDeletethat's awesome!
ReplyDeleteSo i already posted here but was my comment removed because of the problem blogger had?
ReplyDeletegirls!
ReplyDeleteRealllly hard to give up. You have to persevere though.

ReplyDeleteYou should try finding a hobbie that can occupy you when you want to smoke.
